The Iowa Adaptive Golf Association was formed in 1992 to promote the love of the game of golf as well as fellowship among amputees. This group of amputees are dedicated to the education and rehabilitation of amputees regardless of age, gender, and skill through the participation in the sport of golf. Experiences are shared, encouragement offered, and friendships developed demonstrating that an amputation does not limit ones activities, achievements, or quality of life.

In 1998 the Iowa Amputee Golf Association started a scholarship program. Since that time, the Iowa Amputee Golf Association has awarded over 90 scholarships to young adults seeking post secondary education totaling nearly $60,000.

The Iowa Amputee Golf Association would not be able to host the annual tournament or award so many scholarships if it was not for great sponsors. Some sponsors are private donations, others come in the form of advertising. Please consider becoming one of our great sponsors today!
