Iowa Amputee Golf Tournament Marks Thirsty Years

The Iowa Adaptive Golf Association was formed in 1992 to promote the love of the game of golf and fellowship among amputees. Amputees from all over come to participate in the three-day event. This year marks the 30th annual Iowa Amputee Golf Tournament. President Cory Watson shares the details of the milestone.

Iowa golfers are part of a growing movement to make golf an official sport in the Paralympics. The International Olympic Committee reinstated golf as an official Olympic sport for the 2016 games in Rio De Janerio.
